I Wish I Were in the Outback

By Rebecca Wilkinson

When a little girl decides it’s just too crowded in her house she takes her toy rabbit to the outback. They don’t see any people, but they do meet kangaroos, emus, brumbies, dingoes, crocodiles, and a very funny-looking lizard. The animals are nice, but sometimes it’s lonely without people around. Maybe it would be nice to be back home. She can always imagine her way to the outback again.
