The Fox Borrows the Majesty of the Tiger

By Chinese folk tale / retold by: Chun Leung Wilfred

The tiger is convinced he is the king of the jungle. That is his belief until he spots a crafty fox he might like to eat for dinner. Just before the tiger kills the fox, the fox tells the tiger that he, the fox, is in fact the king of the animals and hurting him will greatly upset God. The tiger doesn’t believe him, so the fox sets out to prove himself… and save his own life.
