Thumbling

A poor couple has a very tiny son, the size of a thumb. Thumbling is very smart. His parents sell him to strangers who want to make money by exhibiting his talents. He hides in a mousehole to escape. He tricks thieves who are trying to steal from a pastor. He hides in hay and is eaten by a cow. When the cow is killed, he is eaten by a wolf. He tricks the wolf and returns to his parents once more. The story is from The Brothers Grimm 1812 collection.
